Eco-Committee News
Who we are?
Eco-Committee is made up of a group of children who meet every week with Miss Bracken to discuss new ideas and projects. Mrs Webb, one of our School Governors, attends meetings regularly as does Mrs Knight, keeping us informed of gardening activities.
What we've been up to!
The Eco-Committee have been very busy in the last term with their latest projects.
We showed the governors our latest projects around the school grounds, including our vegetable garden, wildlife area, stumpery, compost area and butterfly garden. The Governors were interested to hear how we are saving energy too!
We all enjoyed our "Ground Force" morning. Pupils, mums and dads, teachers, governors and Mrs Harry all helped to complete our compost area, dig out our stumpery garden and make progress on our sensory garden and wildlife area. Thank you very much to everyone for giving their time and support.
Look out for more news from our Eco-Committee throughout the year...
